A USA-Trains 1:29-scale (G-Gauge) Union Pacific Big Boy

Lone Star Trains & Collectibles
San Antonio, Texas

A USA-Trains 1:29-scale ("G-Gauge") Union Pacific "Big Boy"4-8-8-4 die-cast steam locomotive model, Limited Edition, retail value $4000. The model was stolen from Lone Star Trains & Collectibles in San Antonio, Texas the morning of Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Thieves backed a maroon pickup truck to the glass front door, shattered the glass, snatched the locomotive and tender from the counter display, and made off. Locomotive and tender together are 57" long (almost 5-feet), and weighs about 75 pounds.
